I’ve been kept busy on the   Susanna Kearsley side of things, and am just finishing a new novel set in Cornwall, and then hopefully will get a chance to get back to the sequel to Every Secret Thing.

This time round, Kate’s off to Paris and the Greek isle of Lefkada, where what starts off as an innocent assignment quickly spirals into something much more threatening.

The kids are back in school next week, and I’m starting to line up a few appearances for fall...

What do you notice first about a person when you meet them? Their build? Their eyes? Their clothes? When introducing a new character in your writing, try describing their features  in the same order you would if you met them in real life.
